Events

Each year, events such as ESCAPE and CAPE Forum are organised by CAPE Working Party. Upcoming events are listed below.

ESCAPE 36

The 36th European Symposium on Computer Aided Process Engineering will be held in the UK from Sunday 21 June to Wednesday 24 June 2026 at the University of Sheffield.

The ESCAPE series is an annual series initiated in 1991 by the CAPE Working Party of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering. The main theme of 2026 conference, Resilient Sustainability through CAPE, reflects the shift toward integrating resilience through design and the critical role computer-aided process engineering has when developing innovative tools and adaptive, efficient systems that can withstand uncertainty while minimising environmental impact.

CAPE FORUM 2026

The 2026 edition of the CAPE Forum will be held in Salamanca, Spain, from September 16 to 18, 2026, and will be organized by the Sustainable Engineering and Production Group at the University of Salamanca

Computer Aided Process Engineering (CAPE) Forum aims to bring together researchers and industrial practitioners for an informal discussion on research topics, new and emerging technologies, and cutting-edge developments in both academia and industry, in the area of CAPE. CAPE Forum is basically a series of yearly small-scale but highly interactive conferences organized under the supervision of the ComputerAided Process Engineering (CAPE) Working Party of the European Federation for Chemical Engineering (EFCE).
