Events

Each year, events such as ESCAPE and CAPE Forum are organised by CAPE Working Party. Upcoming events are listed below.

ESCAPE 37

The 37th European Symposium on Computer Aided Process Engineering (ESCAPE37) will be held in Trondheim, Norway, on 07–10 June 2027, hosted by NTNU under the auspices of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering.

The ESCAPE series is an annual series initiated in 1991 by the CAPE Working Party of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering. The goal of the symposium is to unite researchers in theory and practitioners in process systems engineering, to assess new methods, models, and tools across modeling, optimization, control, AI and digitalization, and applications in energy, materials, sustainability, and biosystems.

CAPE FORUM 2026

The 2026 edition of the CAPE Forum will be held in Salamanca, Spain, from September 16 to 18, 2026, and will be organized by the Sustainable Engineering and Production Group at the University of Salamanca

Computer Aided Process Engineering (CAPE) Forum aims to bring together researchers and industrial practitioners for an informal discussion on research topics, new and emerging technologies, and cutting-edge developments in both academia and industry, in the area of CAPE. CAPE Forum is basically a series of yearly small-scale but highly interactive conferences organized under the supervision of the ComputerAided Process Engineering (CAPE) Working Party of the European Federation for Chemical Engineering (EFCE).
